A personal project I designed and built. The point of this was to product a working instrument that not only looked amazing, but played amazing as well. The quote is an old african proverb. The guitar is a gibison les paul jr. I started this project by aquiring the instrument from a local pawn shop and removing the finish, which was a beautiful glittery silver. 

 

My aim was to create a distressed look that matched the meaning of the quote. as an instrument that had seen rough seas would shurly not have a spotless finish.
